Creativity: The heart of all meaningful change

“Learn the rules like a pro – so you can break them like an artist” – Pablo Picasso

Creativity is a philosophy -- one that embraces new ways of thinking and new ways of seeing. It’s really at the heart of every new movement in business, politics, life --- and, well, everything. Whether it’s in food, agriculture or science, creativity is that magic that allows us to think differently and think outside the box while creeping outside the spreadsheet.

Think about it: It’s how Amazon was born and it’s how Alibaba was born. Those who think outside the norms – those are our creatives and the ones who are taking that risk of thinking in a new way. It takes a lot of courage to be that. And every one of our competitors at CBC captures that spirit.
Creativity is the cornerstone of greatness – no matter what your profession or your goals. It can be surprising— seriously. Some of the most creative people I’ve known are not artists. They are accountants and business people and technologists – and they are all entrepreneurs. They are willing to risk it all on an idea that shapes a new trend or a new business.

It’s all about creating something where there was nothing. That’s Richard Branson's take on the whole idea. And he’s right. And that’s why we’re doing what we’re doing.
The key is letting yourself think differently. And we want to get you there.

Despite the strange political and economic environment around the world, what we’ve discovered is that people keep creating. People keep making change and people keep doing cool things. No one is retreating. It’s the opposite. People are cool and so are new ideas.

Around the world, creatives are finding new canvasses – in tech, in policy, in pharmaceuticals and in music.

That’s what we stand for. We believe everyone needs to find a canvass and make it their own, break some rules and toss metaphorical paint.

Join us at CBC and get inspired to do just that.

Cheers to your success!
